France's anti-piracy Hadopi law under fire in commission report

France’s anti-piracy, graduated response law has come under fire in a report from the country’s Ministry of Culture.

Billboard reports that the report on digital content and cultural policy is based on around 60 interviews with organisations, companies, individuals and consumer groups linked to the entertainment industry, with many reportedly critical of the anti-piracy measure.

While the full report won’t be published until March 2013, it’s said that the commission summarised the efficiency of Hadopi as “hard to evaluate precisely”.
