Simon Fuller could have interests beyond Parlophone, with reports suggesting that the Pop Idol orchestrator is preparing a bid for Concord Music Group.
The American record company’s catalogue includes big hitting names including Paul McCartney, Joni Mitchell, Miles Davis and Dionne Warwick.
The speculation comes from Yahoo, which says that the music group has been put up for sale with an expected price tag of around $125m.
