Hans-Holger Albrecht: Apple entering the streaming market "is a positive thing"
Deezer’s CEO since February, Hans-Holger Albrecht (pictured), told an audience of music industry executives and journalists that a “company the size of Apple” moving into the streaming market “proves that it is the model of the future”.
He said that an Apple streaming service would be “good news.” Added Albrecht: “I'm not that concerned about Apple. It’s a positive thing. And for Deezer, I’m even less concerned, because we fish in different ponds to Apple and Spotify.”
