IFPI gives Austrian ISPs two weeks to block torrent sites

The IFPI has written to Austria's largest internet service providers, giving them two weeks to block four of the world’s largest torrent sites.

The demands have been made following a European Court of Justice ruling which states internet service providers can now be forced to block copyright-infringing websites.

According the letter from the IFPI, subscriber access to The Pirate Bay.se, Isohunt.to, 1337x.to and H33t.to must be restricted by August 14.
