Crowdmix, the soon-to-be-launched app that aims to connect the world through music, has announced that industry veteran Dick Wingate has been appointed as president, artist and entertainment services for North America.

Crowdmix has raised over USD $20 million of pre-launch funding from a number of private and institutional investors, and is currently in the process of raising an additional USD $20m by the end of 2015. The Crowdmix app is due to launch in Q1 2016.
