Instagram expands advertising offering

Instagram has expanded its ad offering from today, September 9, allowing any advertiser to run ads on the platform.

The platform only worked with select advertisers previously, but its advertising services have now been opened to anyone.

Ads were also only available in eight territories, but this has now been extended to 30 as part of the expansion.

By the end of September Instagram will offer advertising in all territories where Facebook advertising is available.
