Apple has announced the launch of its iTunes Store in Russia, Turkey, India, South Africa and 52 other countries today.

The Store features local repertoire in each territory including artists such as Elka in Russia, Sezen Aksu in Turkey, AR Rahman in India and Zahara in South Africa.

International stars including the likes of The Beatles, Taylor Swift and Coldplay also come as part of the package.

The new roll-outs now mean that the iTunes store is now available in 199 countries.

Apple finally launched iTunes 11 last week after a month long delay. It boasts a number of new features, the most interesting of which is iCloud Play, which allows users to stream music they have stored in the Cloud directly.
