John Grant's second solo album Pale Green Ghosts has been named the Album Of The Year by much-loved independent music retailer Rough Trade.
The firm, which won 'Best Music Retail Brand' at the Music Week Awards in April, places Grant's Bella Union-issued effort ahead of the likes of Savages (Matador) and Matthew E White (Domino).
Rough Trade revealed its Top 10 today, with a full Top 100 to be announced shortly.
