Lamacq: Glastonbury TV coverage could have five times impact of Brits

Steve Lamacq is predicting the BBC’s most comprehensive coverage yet of Glastonbury could have five times as big an impact on the market as the Brit Awards ITV show did.

The 6 Music DJ has covered the festival for the Beeb since it first broadcast from Worthy Farm in 1994, but its coverage this year will be on an altogether bigger scale with live streaming from six stages and involving four TV channels, four radio stations and multiple digital platforms.
