Following the announcement of Gordon Smart's departure as editor of The Sun's Bizarre column, Lia Nicholls and Jennifer O'Brien have today been named his joint successors.

Previously deputy editor of the section, Nicholls will share the role with O'Brien - former showbiz editor and columnist for The Irish Sun.
