Live Nation president and CEO Michael Rapino has been awarded an honorary doctorate of commerce from his former university.

Rapino (pictured) was honoured at the Lakehead University’s Faculty of Business Administration’s convocation ceremony, reports Thunder Bay News.

Addressing, the graduating classes from his former program as well as the Faculty of Education, he said promoting a show by the Jeff Healey Band set him on his career path from an early stage.
