London's The Water Rats given fresh lease of life

A new lease has been signed to re-open historic London venue The Water Rats.

Sally Fox, formerly of Soho nightclub Moonlighting, has taken over the Gray’s Inn Road site from charitable showbusiness body The Grand Order of Water Rats, reports the London Evening Standard.  

The venue, which has hosted acts such as Bob Dylan and Oasis, has been closed twice for renovations in the last 12 months. It is to undergo a makeover and the new operator is expected ...
