LyricFind strikes deal with Universal Music Publishing Group

LyricFind has struck a deal with Universal Music Publishing Group that will make it the sole third party to administer future licences for lyrics controlled by UMPG.

The deal, effective from May 1, 2013, allows LyricFind to sublicense for display and sync to music sites, services and apps, as well as search, display and reproduces lyrics from UMPG’s roster of songwriters. Songwriters will be given a share of LyricFind’s revenues in return.
