Managers welcome Spotify transparency

The MMF and FAC have 'warmly welcomed' the transparency provided by the new Spotify Artists website launched yesterday (December 3).

The new hub has been set up to educate and inform artists and their managers about Spotify and streaming in general and revealed that its average rightsholder payment per-stream is $0.007.

Manager Joe Taylor said: “This is exactly what Spotify needed to do – well done them.”
