The Mark Allen Group has acquired world music magazine Songlines.
The acquisition, completed on Friday (February 6), adds a third publication to the music and arts arm of the MAG stable, joining classical music authority Gramophone and Jazzwise.
Songlines, which was launched by editor-in-chief Simon Broughton and publisher Paul Geoghegan, originally began as an off-shoot to Gramophone in 1999.
