Matchbox Twenty added to iTunes Festival 2012

American rock band Matchbox Twenty have been added to the line-up for the month-long iTunes Festival and will play on September 19.

Rob Thomas, lead singer of Matchbox Twenty said: "We're really excited about the opportunity to be a part of the iTunes Festival. Any chance to do our favourite thing in one of our favourite cities is always a win."

Throughout September each night of the festival will take place at The Roundhouse in Camden, London. 

Tickets are free for competition winners only.

There is an official free iTunes Festival app that enables users to apply for tickets and watch the shows live or on repeat for a limited time. 

The current line-up is as follows:

September 1: Usher

September 2: Ed Sheeran + Charli XCX

September 3: Olly Murs

September 4: Plan B

September 5: Emeli Sandé

September 6: JLS

September 8: Jack White

September 9: Deadmau5

September 10: Norah Jones

September 12: Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds + The Soundtrack of Our Lives

September 13: P!NK

September 14: Labrinth + Josh Kumra

September 15: David Guetta

September 16: Rebecca Ferguson

September 18: Andrea Bocelli

September 19: Matchbox Twenty

September 20: One Direction

September 21: Jessie J + Lonsdale Boys Club

September 22: Biffy Clyro + Frightened Rabbit
