Alongside Elvin Smith, Method Management’s Sam Evitt and Jack Street have represented Sam Smith ever since Jimmy Napes emailed a finished version of Lay Me Down (“no message, no subject, just the attachment,” says Street). They called him immediately.
The track became Smith’s debut single, released in February 2013. It also led to him working with Disclosure – who went into the studio with Napes and Smith and penned Latch. From there on, the management trio worked together. ...
