Avicii looks likely to prevent One Direction's Best Song Ever debuting at No 1 in the UK after opening up a 60% sales lead with Wake Me Up.
Having debuted at the top last Sunday with 266,524 sales to achieve the biggest retail tally of the year, the Positiva/PRMD-issued Wake Me Up now looks comfortably placed to make it two weeks at No 1 this coming weekend, according to Official Charts Company data.
