Midweek Charts: Cyrus aiming for chart-topping double

Miley Cyrus could debut at No 1 on both UK singles and artist albums this weekend with Wrecking Ball and Bangerz leading their respective markets.

The RCA-issued Wrecking Ball has opened up a comfortable lead of around 18,500 sales on singles, but Bangerz faces a tougher battle to top Sunday's chart with Chase & Status only about 4,500 units behind, according to the Official Charts Company.
