Midweek Charts: Royals aiming for chart crown
Lorde's Hot 100 chart-topping Royals is leading midweek singles as Katy Perry takes charge of artist albums.
The New Zealander's Virgin-issued single, which has been heading the Billboard chart for three weeks with 2.7 million US download sales to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan, has opened up a lead of around 7,000 sales on the Official Charts Company's midweek singles countdown in the UK.
