A judge has refused to throw out the verdict against Monster Energy in the high profile Beastie Boys case, which has cost the energy drink company $1.7 million in damages.
The lawsuit ended after an eight-day trial in June this year, after Monster Energy admitted to infringing the Beastie Boys song licenses. However, the company has sought to void the jury verdict.
