San Francisco-based social music discovery platform Muzooka has raised $3 million in its latest financing round, bringing the startup's total raised to over $3.6 million.
Muzooka was founded in 2012 as an online community for artists, fans and producers centred around discovering new music.
Concert promoter Ron Sakamoto, owner of Gold & Gold Productions Ltd, will be joining the Muzooka Board of directors.
Sakamoto will be working with executive chairman, Doug Nyhoff and CEO Shawn Wilson.
