UK acts One Direction, Ed Sheeran and Cher Lloyd have been honoured amongst the latest Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) multi-Platinum and Gold award recipients.

The RIAA’s newest monthly Gold and Platinum Program certification announcement recognised sales achievements of One Direction track What Makes You Beautiful as it took February’s top digital download honour  - going 4x multi-Platinum (released through Syco Music/Columbia Records in the territory).
