One Direction top US chart for second time

One Direction have smashed through half a million sales to debut at No 1 on the Billboard 200 chart for the second time this year.

The Syco/Columbia band's Take Me Home sold 540,000 copies in its introductory week, according to Nielsen SoundScan, to give it 2012's third highest opening tally behind Taylor Swift's Red (1.2 million) and Mumford & Sons' Babel (600,000).
