Listener hours for internet radio service Pandora dropped in June from 1.35 billion to 1.25 billion.
Billboard reports that a spokesperson for Pandora said the uncommon trend of decline has been attributed to a cap on mobile listening hours and seasonal fluctuation.
The caps were introduced so Pandora pays less royalties as it makes more money from desktop than mobile streams and has to pay fees regardless.
