Peter Phillips dies, aged 80

Music publishing veteran Peter Phillips died suddenly on February 10, 2015, following a short illness. 

Phillips joined the music industry in 1958, working for his father, Jimmy Phillips, at Peter Maurice Music, looking after artists including Tammy Wynette and Phil Coulter. Phillips followed the company after it was sold to Rediffusion/KPM, working as general manager and starting the KPM library.
