Phil Ramone dies, aged 79

Veteran producer Phil Ramone has died, aged 79.

During his 50-year career, Ramone worked on albums by Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Bob Dylan, Ray Charles, Paul Simon and Billy Joel.

He died Saturday morning (March 30) after being hospitalised in late February with an aortic aneurysm.
