Piracy halved in New Zealand following three strikes rule - report

Online piracy rates in New Zealand have halved since the introduction of the three strikes rule, according to the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand.

The controversial rule sees fines of up to NZ$15,000 (£7,600) issued to illegal downloaders caught three times.
