Planet Rock is to launch its second show dedicated to the blues.

‘The Blues Power Sunday Brunch’ will open up new sponsorship opportunities and provide a platform for labels and artists, according to the station.

Blues specialist Bernard Doherty has been enlisted to present the show, which is billed as the more mainstream cousin of Blues Power, which continues on Thursdays at 7pm and Saturdays at midnight on Planet Rock.
