POLL: Does the BBC have a responsibility to show more new music on TV?

The music industry has this week critised the BBC for a lack of new music on TV, with the likes of Elbow's Guy Garvey, Bella Union founder Simon Raymonde and Universal Music UK boss David Joseph airing their views.

Garvey has called on BBC chiefs to get more up-and-coming acts on TV, "it's a public service and you should be helping people connect with music they love," he told Music Week.
