The centralised sound system will be turned off along with the use of any personal music or streaming device. Anyone caught 'breaking' the music ban will be fined £5 and the money will go to PPL's charity of the year, Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The event also ties in with upcoming research that PPL and PRS for Music have carried out using an independent research company about how music can play a significant role in the workplace.
