PPL reveals 6% growth in international revenues

UK music licensing company PPL has enjoyed a 6% uplift in its international revenues, collected for performers and record companies, which reached £36.4 million in 2014.

The figure is up £2m on 2013, and represents a 12% growth on a currency neutral basis. The rise is down to a combination of an increase in PPL clients, as well as signing nine new agreements with collective management organisations (CMOs), bringing its total up to 75.
