Clannad and Martin Carthy are to receive lifetime achievement awards at next month's BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
The two acts will pick up the honours at the annual event taking place on Wednesday, February 15 at London's Royal Albert Hall. It marks a return for the ceremony to the city in what will be the awards' 15th anniversary.
