The latest RAJAR figures are in, and it’s good news across the BBC.
BBC Radio 1 saw its reach jump 7.6% in Q2 2015, from 9.7m to 10,43m. It was down 3.3% year-on-year, not quite matching Q2 2014’s figure of 10.8m. The station held a share of 6.4% (compared to 6.4% last quarter and 6.8% last year).
The Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw also increased its weekly reach by 344,000 to 5.84 million, up from 5.5m last quarter.
