Rdio launches in 20 new countries

Streaming service Rdio has launched in 20 new countries, expanding its global footprint to 51 territories across six continents.

Today, more than half (57%) of the platform’s monthly active users come from regions outside of the United States.

“We launched Rdio in two countries just over three years ago,” said Anthony Bay, Rdio’s chief executive officer. “Today, we’re proud to bring our latest groundbreaking music experience to customers in 51 different international markets.
