RedOne and Cash Money launch JV within Universal

Multi-Grammy award-winning producer/songwriter RedOne has launched a new joint venture with Cash Money Records within Universal Music.

Cash Money-2101 Records will launch two new acts on its roster, Swedish-Congolese singer/ songwriter Mohombi and pop trio TalkBack.

The company sees the coming together of Morocco-born RedOne (Nadir Khayat) with Cash Money founders Ronald “Slim” and Bryan “Baby” Williams.

RedOne, who has collaborated with the likes of Lady Gaga, Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias, Nicki Minaj and Usher, runs 2101 Records in a JV ...
