Music discovery firm Shazam has reported pre-tax losses of £5.3 million for the six months leading up to December 2013.
The company’s losses were £1.3 million for the whole previous year, with the mounting losses said to be a result of increased spending on marketing and technology.
Shazam has recently integrated with Apple’s Siri voice recognition feature, which can now be used to find tracks in Shazam on the new iOS 8 software update.
