Spanish music market up 10.9% 'thanks to streaming'

Music sales in Spain were up 10.9% in the first half of 2015, with consumers spending a total of 70.6 million euros on recorded music over the six month period.

The territory’s music industry association Promusicae places the improvement “entirely on the momentum of streaming, with revenues up 40% for both subscription and ad-supported services”.
