Steven Melrose tipped for Epic UK MD job - report
Steven Melrose is set to step into the role of managing director of Epic UK, according reports.
Hits Daily Double points to rumours of Sony UK boss Nick Gatfield having given the nod to Melrose, currently head of A&R at Sony Music UK.
Melrose worked closely with Gatfield at EMI before re-joining him at Sony.
He has also held positions at Island UK and founded the Leftwing label and management firm.
