UB40 honoured at Urban Music Awards

UB40

UB40's singer Ali Campbell will accept the award on the band's behalf at the ceremony taking place November 3.

Ali Campbell will be joined on stage by Lemar to perform I'll Be Standing By -a duet featuring on Campbell's current solo album Running Free. Lemar has been nominated for best music video, best R&B act and best album.

CEO and founder of the Urban Music Awards Jordan Kensington says, "This year to celebrate our fifth anniversary we are going all out by bringing together comedy, fashion, business and music under one roof to provide quality entertainment and to further take the thriving British urban music scene to a whole new level and at the same time provide more opportunities for our homegrown talent here in the UK and across all the international UMA licensed territories abroad".
