The UK Government has begun to roll out new exceptions to copyright laws in a bid to align with the digital age.
Disabled people and disability groups are now able to make accessible copies of copyright material (including music, film and books) when no commercial alternative exists.
The above became law on June 1 alongside a number of other exceptions pertaining to researchers, schools, colleges, universities, libraries and public bodies. More details can be found here.
