Reporting to Steve Gawley (executive vice president of business and legal affairs), Seltzer will have business and legal responsibilities for labels including Island Def Jam and Universal Republic.

Previously, Seltzer worked in the same capacity for Island Def Jam overseeing label and new media deals for artists such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Bob Marley, and Johnny Cash, among others. His responsibilities now extend to overseeing the legal department of Universal Republic.
