Hosted by Paul Gambaccini and co-chaired by Michael Connarty MP and Lord Colwyn, nine awards were dished out for work in the jazz field.

Mark Lockheart took the jazz musician honour and the Gareth Lockrance Septet No Messin took the award for jazz album.
