Vevo and Dailymotion have extended their syndication agreement to Europe for France, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the UK.

The partnership expansion means that Dailymotion’s European music-loving users will be able to get unlimited, on-demand, ad-supported access to Vevo’s catalogue of over 75,000 music videos, concerts and original music programming – which were previously only available to Dailymotion subscribers in the US.

“We are delighted to announce the extension of our partnership with Dailymotion,” said Vevo’s director, Business Affairs and Business Development, Eric Mackay. “It will allow Vevo to deliver our huge catalogue of premium music videos, live events and original programming to Dailymotion’s music-hungry users.

“This further strengthens Vevo’s platform offering and cements our position as the world’s leading all premium music video platform.”

Marc Eychenne, head of Content EMEA at Dailymotion, added: “Dailymotion is committed to providing our users with great original content, and music is one of our most popular areas, so we are very excited to extend our partnership with VEVO on this.

“This will provide great content to our European users and a platform to help Vevo reach many more music fans”
