Woodstock 50th anniversary concert planned

The legendary Woodstock festival could be revived for a 50th anniversary concert, according to the original event's co-creator. 

Michael Lang told the Poughkeepsie Journal that talks are underway with potential partners for a 2019 festival and different locations are being considered. 

"Woodstock is the original and most famous festival brand.” he said. “With the prevalence of festivals out there, and all the excitement about them, maybe it’s time for [another Woodstock]."
