World music event to take place in aid of climate change

A 24 hour long live music concert is taking place on June 18, featuring over 100 acts playing gigs across seven continents, aimed at raising awareness of climate change.

Titled Live Earth: Road To Paris, the initiative has been launched by Al Gore, former Vice President of the US, and Pharrell Williams.

It will take place to have "a billion voices with one message demand climate change" ahead of United Nation talks in November, said Gore.
