Eminem won Artist of the Year at last night's inaugural YouTube Music Awards, as Macklemore & Ryan Lewis picked up the YouTube Breakthrough Award.

Actor Jason Schwartzman and musician Reggie Watts co-hosted the awards without a script, after creative director Spike Lee only gave them a list of bullet points about each award in order to encourage improvisation.
