Livewire, who specialise in music video during live performances, launched the idea, which they call a "world first" with Shorts TV in Paris earlier this year.

Audiences are given the chance to see the work of eight directors as part of the ShortsTV Live Music Film Festival. The short films are shown at the start of the gig and during the changeover between Placebo and the supporting acts.
