No iTunes in the cloud as music takes back seat at Apple event

Apple bought streaming music service Lala in December, closed it last month and is currently offering Lala customers refunds in the form of iTunes credits. This all fuelled suggestions that Apple would follow Google's recent lead and announce a streaming music solution.

While the main focus was the unveiling of the iPhone 4 and the new iOS4 software (for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad), a number of key announcements (some music-related) were also made.
