Secondary ticketing goes before Parliament

Sharon Hodgson's Sale of Tickets (Sporting and Cultural Events) Bill aims to tackle the "problem" of ticket touting for live events by allowing organisers to prevent their tickets being resold by unauthorised retailers for a price greater than 10% above the ticket's face value.

It would also require the Government to work with the entertainment and ticketing industries to establish a fairer re-sale system, putting fans looking to buy tickets in touch with fans who need to sell on tickets ...
